The Big Apple yo!
Our trip to New York City was the most fun trip I have ever been on ever! We did so many things and went to so many places I can't even begin to explain how much I truly enjoyed the trip. I have seen videos, pictures, and scenes in movies of New York City and I thought that I had a pretty good grasp on what to expect, I was wrong, when you are actually there it is incredible, buildings, people, and shops everywhere you look and it's amazing. I love the city and can't wait to go back. My favorite part of the trip was the times we got to walk around the streets and really explore the chaos and experience it for ourselves. The Spiderman show was ridiculous! I never had any desire to go to a broadways show but now I want to go see more, the only bad part was the parts when Mary Jane would sing, but I guess you have to deal with the dumb romance parts to get to the action. There wasn't a single time the entire trip where I wasn't having a good time, even waiting in line for Carlo's Bakery and the 9/11 memorial was fun because I was with my friends and we were just bullshitting the whole time while we waited. FAO Schwars was my favorite store we went to, I could live in there I'm not even kidding. I also was very inspired by everything that Sue, the owner of Rime, had to say. But of all the great things we did and the awesome times we had I think my favorite thing that happened was how much closer I feel to everyone in the class, not just IMDD but the Senior and Junior classes too. There were people that I never spoke too a day in my life and now I feel like I am friends with almost everyone in all the classes. (I hope they feel the same way and I'm not just a weirdo). Being in this class might possibly be the best thing that has happened in my life so far, and this trip is something that I will remember for the rest of my life.

OSPS over view yo!
The One Stop Prom Shop is finally over and was a huge success. The experience I had putting together such an important event is something I will never ever forget. Working with my awesome classmates was the best part, everyone worked so well together it seemed like we all have done this before with how smooth everything went. Everyone was constantly working and keeping busy during the whole show, although I wasn't doing much except for the morph dance. The American Commodore dance was totally weak compared to our morph dance!!! I will admit their little jig was cute, but couldn't compare. There was a lot of hype about the OSPS afterwards, here's the links, check it out yo!

OSPS Harlem Shake Yo!
The Harlem Shake is a viral video currently raping the internet. It is a crazy dance video only about 30 seconds long each video where one person is dancing while everyone else continues on with their normal day and then when the song drops all hell breaks loose. All three Deca classes participated in the making of our very own Harlem Shake. I came up with the idea over the weekend and came back to school with a mission. Everybody seemed to dig the idea and once again the three classes have put our heads together to create chaos in the classroom. The video was made to promote the One Stop Prom Shop, so far in only about 24 hours the video has about 900 views on youtube, like 45 retweets and more views on Facebook. We made the video in about 30 minutes which is pretty impressive in my opinion. Making the video was a lot of fun and I am so proud of everyone for participating, I think we really created something cool.

One Stop Prom Shop Y0! v.2
The One Stop Prom Shop has been quite an experience. The two senior DECA classes and the junior class have really come together on this project. Everyone in all the classes have been working really hard to make this happen. There are even teams split up amongst our IMDD class, the teams are the audience involvement, video, and morph team. I signed my life away when I joined the morph team and discovered that Ms. Kight's true passion isn't business, it's teaching dance with an iron fist. Although it has been dreadful dancing all the time and sweating profusely in those damn morph suits, but it has been more fun than anything. I also know Gangnam Style better than Psy himself.(not really). All three classes have encountered countless problems and drawbacks throughout the process of getting enough booths, learning the dance, creating a video worthy of this assembly, and figuring out how to really impress and involve the audience with the assembly, but together, we are all one team, one family, and conquered all setbacks thrown our way with hard work and a vision, a vision of the perfect Prom assembly!
